Loss of Earnings
Loss of earnings (LOE) are the benefits that the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) pays to you in place of the income you lost as a result of your work-related injury.
Return to Work/ Work Transition Services (WTS)
Return to work is the process or strategy of safely returning employees to the workplace in a timely manner. The goal is to return the worker to their pre-injury position through complete cooperation of employee and employer.
Non-Economic Loss (NEL)
A NEL award is meant to recognize the permanent effects of workplace injury on a worker's life outside of work. Permanent impairment may result from mental, as well as from physical injuries.
Chronic Pain Disability (CPD) & Psychological Claims
WSIB pays for Chronic Pain Disability (CPD) claims or for work related Psychological disabilities like: PTSD, Depression and/or Anxiety that arose because of the work you perform. We can guide you through the complex WSIB appeals process.
Lifelong Pension Entitlement (PD) &Supplementary Benefits (Pre-1990)
